INTRODUCTION TO EMERGENCIES

Tuesday, October 1st, 2019 from 1PM - 4PM
Age: Adults Only

Participants attending the workshop will learn how to save lives by attending to the most common emergencies striking at home and work places.

They will learn what to do in heart attack, stroke and breathing allergy emergencies. Participants will also learn what are the necessary steps to take if someone is bleeding and how to tie bandages. Steps necessary to overcome medical emergencies such as Diabetes, seizures and overdoses will also be discussed. These workshops are conducted by Manjit Singh, MD who was a medical doctor and has over 13 years of experience as an instructor with Canadian Red Cross and holds Canadian Red Cross certification courses every week. 

These workshops being offered are for educational purposes only and does not come with certification. If you need certification a more extensive class can be booked with the instructor directly.

*This is a workshop for parents and caregivers; childminding is not offered at this time. There is no make up for missed classes. Class fee is non-refundable.
